Lisa Witter is an eternal optimist, executive, serial entrepreneur, writer, and public speaker. She is the CEO of the Apolitical Foundation and co-founder of Apolitical.co

Lisa is an expert in the intersections of communications, government, politics, philanthropy, technology, women’s issues and behaviour change. She has counselled CEOs, Nobel Peace Prize winners, politicians, philanthropists, scientists and academics.

Lisa Witter is a serial entrepreneur, an award-winning executive, author, regular public speaker, and counselor to CEOs, philanthropists, Nobel Peace Prize winners, government officials and politicians. She co-founded and serves on the board of Apolitical, a global peer-to-peer learning platform used by over 230,000 public servants across 170 countries. This platform is recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in the World. Lisa is the CEO and co-founder of the Apolitical Foundation, working to update politics for the 21st century.

Beyond her entrepreneurial efforts, Lisa is a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader, where she co-chaired the Agile Governance Council for many years and served on the Brain and Behavior Council. She is a recipient of the Creative Bureaucracy Award and a BMW Foundation Futurity Fellow. For over 25 years, she has co-founded several political training and leadership institutes and served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards. Currently, she chairs the British Chamber of Commerce's Green Innovation Challenge. Her education spans the University of California Santa Cruz, Università di Padova, the University of Washington, Harvard, and Yale.

She is a frequent public speaker and moderator appearing on such media outlets and platforms as NPR, MSNBC, CBS, World Economic Forum, The Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society, TEDWomen and The Skoll World Forum and has been published in publications including Fast Company, Alliance Magazine, Stanford Social Innovation Review, Newsday and The Seattle Times. In 2004, Witter was a contestant on the Showtime reality show, “American Candidate,” a program that inspired Americans to get involved in politics.
